‘Fast Forward >>’ was an exhibition of individual avant-garde architects, including work by Asymptote (Hani Rashid, Lisa Anne Couture), Diller, Scofidio + Renfrew, RUR (Jesse Reiser, Nanako Umemoto), FORM (Greg Lynn), NOX (Lars Spuybroek), dECOi (Mark Goulthorpe) UN Studio (Ben van Berkel, Caroline Bos), Future Systems (Amanda Levete and Jan Kaplicky), KOL/MAC (Sulan Kolotan and Bill MacDonald), Karl Chu, Tom Kovacs and Takashi Yamaguchi. Installations were commissioned for the show from NOX, dECOi and KOL/MAC.
‘Hot Spot’ was a series of individual curated exhibitions of emerging practices from 10 cities – Los Angeles (Karl Chu, Kris Mun, Ludovica Tramontin), New York (Sulan Kolotan, Stefano Columbo), London (Ciro Najle), Tokyo (Takashi Yamaguchi), Moscow (Elena Gonzales), Melbourne (Mark Burry, Dominik Holzer), Ljubljana (Spela Videcnik), Hong Kong, Rome (Laurent Guttierez, Valerie Portefaix) and Mexico (Armando Hashimoto, Surella Segu).
‘Brain Cells’ was an exhibition of architectural research centres – AADRL (Brett Steele), Harvard GSD (Jeffrey Inaba), Bauhaus (Regina Bittner), Multiplicity (Stefano Boeri), Columbia GSAPP (Karl Chu), Ivrea (Ciccio Group), RMIT (Mark Burry).]
